Cho bột trộn đều với shortening bằng một cái nĩa. Hòa tan muối trong nước ấm, cho tỏi nghiền vào.Từ từ đổ nước muối tỏi vào bột, dùng nĩa khuấy đều cho đến khi chúng hòa quyện. Cho bột lên một mặt phẳng, rắc bột áo và nhào cho bột được mịn màng khoảng 3-4 phút.
Tỏi ép nhuyễn. Chia bột thành 12 viên bằng nhau. Để bột lên dĩa rồi đậy lại, cho bột nghỉ ít nhất 1 tiếng. Sau thời gian đó, bạn có thể dùng máy ép để cán mỏng bột, nếu không dùng máy ép thì bạn cán bằng tay nhé.
Bắc chảo lên bếp, đun nóng chảo trong lửa vừa, cho từng cái bánh vào áp chảo khoảng 1 phút mỗi mặt cho đến khi chín vàng cả 2 mặt thì lấy ra ngoài để nguội.
