Anyone else know about the pending insulin shortage that is driving those costs up? No? OK how about instead of bitching about it we all pool our knowledge together and try to find a cure for diabetes instead of relying on the band aid known as insulin? Still a no? Well shit. That's what you get when government is involved insurance. They force guarantee insurance to all, including risky clients and the result is, insurance companies are forced to make high prices just to survive due to high failure rate on client side. All the companies that get money from insurance, such as medical bill spending, will order anything and everything and set a price tag as they will because they know it'll be paid regardless. This gives the product creating companies easy money and ability to set the price they want. Remove government involvement in insurance and the price tag will drop.
